Centre Gives 2025 to Feature a Game-Changing Half a Million Dollar Stretch Pool!
Centre Gives is not just another fundraising event—it’s Centre Foundation’s signature initiative that has become the heartbeat of community-driven support for local nonprofits. Born out of the Foundation’s desire to provide Centre County organizations with a powerful vehicle to amplify their fundraising efforts, Centre Gives has grown into the “Best Fundraising Event” for the last decade, as voted by readers of State College Magazine.
Centre Gives 2025: A Record-Breaking Opportunity
Since its inception in 2012, Centre Gives has generated over $19.7 million for local nonprofits. Last year, a record-breaking $2.5 million was raised through Centre Gives, demonstrating the immense generosity of the Centre County community.
For the fourteenth year, Centre Gives 2025 will once again unite the Centre County community in raising funds for local nonprofits on May 14 & 15. This beloved event has become a cornerstone of giving in the region, and this year it aims to shatter records and fuel a more significant impact for local causes with a $500,000 stretch pool!
Thanks to the generous partnership between the Centre Foundation and the Hamer Foundation, this year’s 66% larger pro-rated stretch pool will amplify every donation, supercharging your contribution and empowering local nonprofits to accomplish more than ever before.
Here’s How the Stretch Pool Works
Every donation of 10 dollars or more during Centre Gives 2025 on May 14th & 15th will automatically qualify for a share of the $500,000 stretch pool.
Important Details for Donors During Centre Gives 2025:
- A minimum donation of $10 qualifies for the stretch pool.
- Donors can contribute more than $10,000, but only the first $10,000 of each donation will be eligible for the stretch pool.
- No organization will receive more than 10% of the total stretch pool.
