Centre Gives 2026 Returns with $500,000 Stretch Pool, Powering a Community-Wide Moment of Impact

Centre Gives is back, and in 2026, it continues to build on the momentum that has made it Centre County’s most anticipated giving event.

What began in 2012 as a way to support local nonprofits has grown into a powerful, community-wide movement. Over the past decade, thousands of donors have come together to invest more than $22.5 million into the organizations that strengthen our region every day.

Now in its fifteenth year, Centre Gives will take place May 6 and 7, once again connecting donors to more than 230 local nonprofits through 36 hours of online giving.

A Proven Model That Multiplies Impact

The $500,000 stretch pool, now a cornerstone of Centre Gives, continues to amplify every donation made during the event. Supported by Centre Foundation and generous community partners, the stretch pool ensures that each gift goes further, helping nonprofits maximize the support they receive during this critical fundraising window.

During Centre Gives, every eligible donation is prorated to receive a share of the stretch pool, increasing the total impact of each contribution and giving donors the opportunity to see their support grow in real time.
